The country’s electronics giant Walton
has increased the number of installment payment for its products for the
customers, especially for those who could not buy Walton brand’s products
mainly due to shortage of money in their hands.
From now, consumers can buy Walton
brand’s various products by paying nominal down payment at maximum 3-year
installment which was previously 30 months.
This new offer is announced by the
Walton authority at a press conference on “Offer Delaration Programme” held at
the conference room of Walton Office in the city on Sunday.
The press conference was attended by
Walton Plaza Sales and Development’s Executive Director Eva Rezwana, First
Senior Additional Director Kamal Hossain, Deputy Director Mir Golam Faruk,
First Senior Assistant Directors Shafiullah Liton and Al Mahufuz Khan,
Assistant Director Obaydul Morshed and other senior officials of the company.
Eva Rezwana said, “We had received good
response from the customers after providing 30 months installment facility for
purchasing Walton brand products.”
“Now, we have extended the number of
payment installment for its products up to 3 years or 36 months so that the
people especially the lower income group could buy the technology based
products more easily,” she added.
By reducing the country’s import
dependency, Rezwana said Walton brand products has already win the customers’
faith and thus strongly committed to bring the technology based products at the
people’s doorstep.
Kamal Hossain said this offer will
enable the consumers to buy world class standard Walton brand’s television,
refrigerator, air conditioner, generator and all other electronics, home and
kitchen appliances by paying a little bit money as monthly installment at
maximum 3 years installment facility.
All Walton Plazas across the country are
providing this latest installment facility as per the compnay’s installment
policy, he said adding, the plan is applicable for all Walton products, except
for mobile handsets, that cost at least Tk 8,500. This offer will be continued
until further notice.
“In addition, if the consumers buy the
Walton brand’s products by paying nominal down payment at maximum 6 months
installment, they will have to pay the product’s MRP value only,” he said.
During the press conference, they
claimed that Walton has captured a lion portion of the country’s refrigerator
market. Specially, the consumers are showing keen interest in the large deep
based refrigerators of Walton brand.
The demand for Walton brand
refrigerators is increasing day by day across the country due to mainly several
reasons, including cheap price, world class quality, service network across the
country and production of local weather based refrigerators.
Following the sweltering summer heat and
upcoming Eid, the refrigerator’s sales have been increased across the country,
they said adding, thus, they have cut the prices of Walton brand’s
refrigerators.
In
addition, they have extended the number of installments by more 6 months up to
3 years considering the ever-growing demands and buying power capacity of the
